Your privacy matters.

Anonymous sharing hides your public identity from other members. The service retains account ownership for moderation and account management.

How encryption works

HTTPS protects production connections. Application payloads use authenticated encryption and story bodies are encrypted in storage. The backend can decrypt content for authorized reads, search, and moderation. Public confessions are not end-to-end encrypted between members.

What search engines can see

These information and topic pages are public. Ordinary confessions and comments can be read by visitors. Adult and sensitive content requires authorized access. Confessions, comments, profiles and account data are not included in the public sitemap; app pages request no indexing.

Your account

Settings includes controls for sensitive content, signed-in sessions, and account deletion. Keep names and other identifying information out of stories you want to share anonymously.
